Rush Poker Mobile App Removed From Android Market

It appears that Full Tilt Poker’s Android poker app, Rush Poker Mobile, has been dropped from the Android Market after only a week. Doing a search for “Full Tilt Poker” or “Rush Poker” on both the Android Market and App Brain provides zero results.
Rush Poker Mobile many have fallen foul of a new guideline for the Android Market, which states “Real gambling is not allowed in Android Market.” This change in policy by Google will come as a blow to Full Tilt Poker, who only opened up their Rush Poker app to the public last week.
The good news is you can still download the Rush Poker Android app from the Full Tilt Poker website or you can just play at the browser based version ( https://mobile.fulltiltpoker.com ) that does not require any download, once you have created a free account at Full Tilt Poker.

Unlike Apple, who only allow apps to be downloaded from their app store, Google allows multiple app stores to exist for the Android OS, so we can expect the Rush Poker Mobile app to appear on Andspot, SlideMe, AndAppStore or any of the other Android Market alternatives in the near future.
When we contacted Full Tilt Poker about the sudden disapperance of the Android app, we were told that “Rush Poker * Mobile is currently unavailable due to maintenance.” Only time will tell whether “Rush Poker Mobile” will reappear on the Android Market.
