Since I got my first Android phone a couple of months back I have basically only been using 2 apps. Twitter and the 888 poker apps. I'm addicted to both.

My Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S has been given the option of an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich but I'm not sure whether I should take it or not because I don't know if the 888 poker apps supports the new OS. Since the app is still in beta there is very little info on the 888 poker website.

Has anyone here had any problems getting the 888 poker app working on Ice Cream Sandwich?

I finally ditched my old nokia last month and joined the smartphone revolution and now I would love try out some of the cash money poker apps out there. The problem is I got myself into some financial trouble a couple of years back and as a result I no longer own a credit card of any description.

Will I have to ask a friend to deposit money for me or are there other options open to me?

Thanks
Gary

I currently use Virtual Private Networks (VPN's) to allow me to watch Hulu and The Daily Show on the iPad/iPhone from outside the United States. If I set-up a UK VPN with a UK IP address on my iPhone, will I be able to use the Bwin app anywhere?

Is gambling app location authentication based on the IP address of the phone or is there something else that pinpoints the location of the app?

So far I've only played mobile poker on my WiFi network at home. I don't like the idea of playing real money games on a 3G network because I could lose the connection at any time. What has been the experience of other people when playing poker on a 3G network? What happens when you lose your connection?
